Uber Event was created to make transportation to large events – like concerts and conferences – more accessible, affordable, and convenient.
The feature offers a smart solution for shared rides with predefined pickup points, cost-sharing, and efficient management tailored to users' needs.
It’s a step forward in improving transportation experiences while promoting sustainability and social connection.
Uber Freight – Enhancing Transparency and Payment Flow
As part of our UX studies, we focused on improving transparency in Uber Freight for both shippers (customers sending shipments) and carriers (drivers).
Shippers faced unpredictable costs due to unexpected Accessorial Charges added after delivery. To solve this, we introduced pricing plans (Base, Pro, Plus) that allow them to estimate costs upfront.
Carriers struggled with delayed and incomplete payments because shippers paid additional fees late. We upgraded the driver app to show which shippers chose plans that cover all costs, ensuring timely payments.
Additionally, we designed a Customer Success dashboard to track system performance, reduce complaints, and provide real-time insights using AI-driven data analysis.
